Aracely Arambula became famous following her appearance in the Spanish television show La Patrona. La Chule was her name for family and friends. Aracely was interested in beauty contests when she was young. She became famous for her frequent appearances in public events across the country she was born in. These were Mujer Casos de la Vida Real (1996), El Alma no hace color (1997) and Alma Rebelde (1998). Aracely was cast in the lead role as Maria del Carmen (Abrazam muy Fuerte) in Abrazam del Carmen, which translates to Embrace Me strongly to me in English. Aracely appeared opposite Fernando Colunga. In 2001, her performance in this telenovela was rewarded with the Best Actress Award from the El Heraldo de Mexico Awards. She played Perla the following year on Las Vias del Amor, the Mexican Telenovela by Emilio Larrosa produced for Televisa. The show also featured her singing the theme music for the film. Aracely resigned from acting in 2008 so she could be the host of Todo Bebe. Her musical path began with nursery rhymes in a homage to Cri Cri, the Mexican composer of children's songs Francisco Gabilondo Soler (also known as Cri Cri). Aracely was nominated three times for her performance at the Billboard Latin Music Awards in 2003, with her debut record Solo Tuya. The year 2005 saw her dropped Sexy recorded by A.B. Quintanilla. She recorded 2 soundtracks of La Patrona, including Juntos tu y yo" and La Patrona. Aracely teased a new album coming out in 2014 however, she has not yet released it.
